ITSC 1325 - Personal Computer Hardware 3 credit hours. 2 lecture hours. 4 lab hours. M Current personal computer hardware including assembly, upgrading, setup, configuration and troubleshooting. Additional Fees: $24 Lab Fee Measurable Learning Outcomes: Assemble/setup and upgrade personal computer systems; diagnose and isolate faulty components; optimize system performance; and install/connect peripherals. Notes: ITSC 1325 and CPMT 1311 cover very similar material. ITSC is used much more commonly at other institutions and is more commonly associated with certifications that could be useful for students within industry. This change was approved by the CIS advisory board. Material for the course will remain mostly the same but offer more opportunity to focus on industry-necessary skills.
