ANTH 2346 - General Anthropology 3 credit hours. 3 lecture hours. 0 lab hours. R The study of human beings, their antecedents, related primates, and their cultural behavior and institutions. Introduces the major subfields: physical and cultural anthropology, archeology, linguistics, their applications, and ethics in the discipline. Measurable Learning Outcomes: Describe the key concepts and methods of anthropology. Compare and contrast the subfields of anthropology, including but not limited to physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, and archeology. Demonstrate an understanding of anthropological approaches to human diversity.
