This is an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology degree completion program for the currently Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Must have up to 32 hours of SRGT course work and a certificate of completion in Surgical Technology from an accredited institution and current CST certification.

Beginning August 1, 2021, all Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) will be required to complete an Associate Degree to be eligible for CST certification.  While those completing a surgical technology prior to that date will likely be grandfathered, a degree completion pathway will be necessary as hospitals and ambulatory clinics implement higher educational standards to match the professional standards.

Credit for Surgical Technology Certificate Completion - *32 semester credit hours will be awarded for certification at the completion of the last semester.
