AA Art can lead to university transfer for BA in Art, Art History, or BFA in Communication Design, Studio Art, or Art w/Teaching Certificate. AA Art Students interested in these bachelor’s degrees must work with an advisor and/or Visual Arts Chair to determine transferrable course work.

First Semester
Meet with academic advisor or Visual Arts Chair to obtain a copy of transfer university degree plan and determine G.P.A. needed to transfer to university.
Second Semester
Schedule a campus tour with transfer university.
Third Semester
Confirm courses for completion of AA degree by meeting with Advisor or Department Chair.
Start applying for admission to transfer university and send first official transcript to transfer university.
Fourth Semester
Apply for graduation for AA Art.
Confirm admission to transfer university and send final official transcript to transfer university at end of semester.
- GOVT 2306 - Texas Government (Texas Constitution and Topics) 3 credit hours.
- Choose from Life and Physical Sciences ** 3-4 credit hours
- Choose 2nd Studio Arts I course (see list below) ** 3 credit hours
- Choose 3rd Studio Arts I course *** or Studio Arts II course 3 credit hours.
- Any course from Language/Philosophy/Culture core**1 3 credit hours.
Grand Total Hours: 60
