ENDT 2571 - Advanced Neurodiagnostic Procedures 5 credit hours. 4 lecture hours. 2 lab hours. Prerequisites: Admission to Program R W M To obtain basic knowledge and skills needed to perform advanced NDT procedures including: Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Evoked Potentials (EP), Polysomnography (PSG), Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IONM), and Long-Term Monitoring (LTM). Additional Fees: Lab Fee: $25 Measurable Learning Outcomes: Understand the basic principles of nerve conduction studies. Demonstrate the basic knowledge for indications for evoked potential testing. Demonstrate the basic anatomy and physiology of select nerves and sensory organs. Demonstrate the basic understanding of polysomnographic testing. Recognize common seizure patterns and understand indications for basic long-term monitoring procedures. Identify the common indications for IONM and basic testing procedures.
