Prerequisites: MUSI 1117.
Singing modulations to closely related keys: modal melodies. Aural study of compound intervals, melodic and harmonic modulation, and all diatonic seventh chords.
Measurable Learning Outcomes:

Advanced skills in melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic dictation.
Sight-singing melodies and intervals.
Aural recognition of intervals within the octave, scales and modes, triads, cadences, rhythmic patterns and meters, and melodies up to eight bars in length.
