Prerequisites: DANC 1247
Instruction and participation in jazz dance technique.
Measurable Learning Outcomes:
- Further examine the basics of Jazz dance technique and to explore Jazz movement.
- Develop technique, rhythm awareness, Jazz Styles, and rhythmic combinations of movement.
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of dance abilities by writing a critique of a dance performance, utilizing appropriate vocabulary and terms.
