Overview of the construction industry and management skills on the job site. Topics include written and oral communications, leadership and motivation, problem solving, and decision making.

Measurable Learning Outcomes:
Identify types of construction, organizational structures and their roles and responsibilities; develop environmental health and safety agency requirements for the project; describe sustainable building practices and standards; and demonstrate leadership, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills in construction.
