Prerequisites: Admission into the program.
Study of conventional water treatment plants including administration and management. Emphasis on the operation of motors, pumps, and disinfection in small water plants.

Define surface and ground water treatment; describe the disinfection process; explain coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration; evaluate chemical solutions and reactions; and operate water distribution and storage facilities.
