KINE 1112 - Jogging/Walking/Fitness 1 credit hours. 0 lecture hours. 3 lab hours. The Jogging/Walking/Fitness course is designed to improve or maintain the student’s cardiovascular endurance and knowledge of cardiovascular fitness such as heart rates, body mass index and body fat percentage according to the student’s age, gender, height and weight.
A fee of $8 is charged for each Health and Physical Education Activity course in which a student is enrolled. (Courses in each activity area must be taken in sequence.) Additional Fees: Kinesiology Fee $8.00 and $50.88 Online textbook and access code Measurable Learning Outcomes: Knowledgeable of proper running techniques. Understand the formula to determine maximum heart rate. Identify cool down methods following exercise. Describe proper weight loss outcomes from jogging.
