Introduction to common health problems of culturally diverse clients requiring medical and surgical interventions during various stages of the life cycle. Measurable Learning Outcomes: Compare and contrast normal physiology of body systems to pathologic variations in the patient with medical-surgical health problems; evaluate and treat patients with medical-surgical health problems using the nursing process including nutrition, pharmacological therapy, clinical judgement model, and principles of safety.
