A continuation of MUSI 1116 with advanced exercises in the hearing and singing of music.
Measurable Learning Outcomes:

Distinguish aurally between triad types and inversions
Recognize tonic, dominant and subdominant functions from aural examples
Take harmonic dictation (bass, melody and chords) of progressions including all diatonic triads
Take contrapuntal dictation of two-voice examples
Take rhythmic, melodic and harmonic dictation from non-chorale excerpts from the literature
