CDEC 2328 - Administration of Programs for Children II 3 credit hours. 3 lecture hours. 0 lab hours. Prerequisites: CDEC 2326 An in-depth study of the skills and techniques in managing early care and education programs, including legal and ethical issues, personnel management, team building, leadership, conflict resolution, stress management, advocacy, professionalism, fiscal analysis, technical applications in programs and planning parent education/partnerships. Measurable Learning Outcomes: Discuss codes of ethical conduct. Explain the administrator’s role in advocacy. Describe interpersonal management skills. Explain legal issues. Evaluate parent involvement strategies.
