Theatre - Associate of Arts

The AA Theatre will prepare students for continued higher education and/or entry level positions in professional theatre. Students will have academic and performance opportunities under the supervision of Fine Arts and other academic faculty members. Students will have opportunities for personal, professional, and creative growth before, during, and after their AA program.

1 Must successfully complete the course in order to progress in the AA Musical Theatre degree.

2 Meet with an academic advisor or program director for university specific transfer course.

FY Course will be offered on a continuous basis so that a student can take the course in any fall or spring.

Transfer Outlook

AA Theatre (THTR) can lead to university transfer for Bachelor of Arts/Fine Arts in Theatre with specialties such as acting, production, and teaching. AA THTR students interested in these bachelor’s degrees must work with a Theatre faculty advisor or academic advisor to determine transferrable course work.

Producer or Director - $31,280*  w/Associate Degree

Drama Professor - $46,063*  w/Master’s/Doctoral Degree

7-12 Drama Teacher - $50,932* w/Bachelor’s Degree + Teaching Certification
