Meet with Speech department advisor or academic advisor to obtain copy of transfer university degree plan and to determine G.P.A. needed to transfer to university.

• Choose from Language, Philosophy, and Culture ** 3 credit hours.  ²
• Choose from Creative Arts 3 credit hours.  ^{2 & 3}

Third Semester

• Choose from Life and Physical Sciences  3 credit hours. ²
• Choose from Social & Behavioral Sciences core 3 credit hours.
• GOVT 2305 - Federal Government (Federal Constitution and Topics) 3 credit hours.
• SPAN 1411 - Beginning Spanish I 4 credit hours.
• DRAM 1310 - Introduction to Theater 3 credit hours.

Fourth Semester

Apply for graduation for AA Speech.

Start applying for admission to transfer university, and send first official transcript to transfer university.

• Choose any course from Life/Physical Science core  3 credit hours. ²
• SPCH 1318 - Interpersonal Communication 3 credit hours.  ^FOS
• SPAN 1412 - Beginning Spanish II 4 credit hours.
• GOVT 2306 - Texas Government (Texas Constitution and Topics) 3 credit hours. ^{3 & 4}

Total Program Hours: 60

1.  Must successfully complete the course in order to progress in the AA Sociology degree.

2.  Meet with an academic advisor or department chair for university specific transfer course.
