1 Must successfully complete course in order to progress in the AAS Criminal Justice degree.
2 Meet with an academic advisor or department chair for university specific transfer course.
3 If you cannot take 15 hours in the semester, we recommend you take this course in the summer.
4 Come speak with an advisor about your Temple College graduation and your university transfer plans.
Students are eligible for transcribed credit if credit has never been previously credited to their academic transcript.
- Texas Police Officers receive e 31 hours of transcribed credit. Those who have completed the BPOC receive 19 hours of credit for CJLE 2520, 2521, 2522, and 2468; and those who have intermediate license receive an additional 12 hours for CJSA 1482, CJSA 1308, CJSA 1322 and CJLE 2247.
- Law Enforcement Telecommunicator with required telecommunicators license - 3 hours.
- Correctional Officer who has completed correctional academy of jailers license - 3 hours.
All students must contact the Criminal Justice Department Chair and provide the required documentation to have the credit transcribed. Credit will be transcribed upon completion of degree; additionally, any type of practitioner experience can only be transcribed once in your college career.
Note: Criminal Justice or Technical Credit Electives are preferred. Core Curriculum Credit may be substituted by Department Chair.
