ARTS 2341 - Metals 3 credit hours. 2 lecture hours. 4 lab hours. A studio art course that introduces metalsmithing using basic techniques in jewelry design and metal
construction. The course provides instruction and practical fabrication experience as it relates to the design
and production of small-scale functional and/or non-fuctional objects. Additional Fees: $50 Measurable Learning Outcomes: Understand the relationship between form and content.
Understand the elements of composition and principles of design.
