CDEC 2341 - The School Age Child3 credit hours. 3 lecture hours. 1 lab hours. A study of programs for the school age child including an overview of development, learning, environments, materials, activities and guidance techniques. This course requires student to participate in 16 hours of relevant field experience.

Measurable Learning Outcomes: Outline growth and development of the school age child. Analyze components of school age programs. Develop materials, activities and guidance strategies.
