Kinesiology - Associate of Science


This program is for direct entry work in fitness/sports job markets or K-12 Kinesiology teacher. It is not tailored for students on physical therapy, athletic training, or high school coaching routes. AS in Kinesiology can lead to transfer in Exercise Sport Science, Kinesiology, and/or Sports Management. AS KINE students interested in these bachelor’s degrees must work with an academic advisor to determine transferrable course work.

First Year Fall


Meet with academic advisor to obtain copy of transfer university degree plan and determine G.P.A. needed to transfer to desired university.

2nd 8-Week Classes

First Year Spring


Schedule a campus tour with the transfer university.

Confirm courses for completion of AS degree.  Start applying for admission to transfer university and send first official transcript to transfer university.

The following classes can also be taken in any Fall or Spring Semester.

Apply for graduation for AS Kinesiology. Confirm admission to transfer university, and send final official transcript to transfer university at end of semester.

1. Must successfully complete the course in order to progress in the AS Kinesiology degree.

2. Meet with an academic advisor or department chair for university specific transfer course. 

3. Come talk to an advisor about your Temple College graduation and your university transfer. 

FY  = Course will be offered on a continuous basis so that a student can take the course in any fall or spring.
