TECA 1354 - Child Growth and Development 3 credit hours. ^{1 & 2}
CDEC 1356 - Emergent Literacy for Early Childhood 3 credit hours.
CDEC 1358 - Creative Arts for Early Childhood 3 credit hours.

1st 8-Week Classes

CDEC 1321 - The Infant and Toddler 3 credit hours.

2nd 8-Week Classes

CDEC Elective 3 credit hours (Choose Only One)

Total Hours: 18

First Year Spring Semester

16 week Classes

CDEC 2307 - Math and Science for Early Childhood 3 credit hours.
CDEC 1319 - Child Guidance 3 credit hours. ²
CDEC 1313 - Curriculum Resources for Early Childhood Programs 3 credit hours.

2nd 8-Week Classes

TECA 1318 - Wellness of the Young Child 3 credit hours.

Total Hours: 12

Total Graduation Hours: 30

¹ Must successfully complete the course in order to progress in the LV1 Child Development certificate

² The equivalent CDEC course may be substituted

³ Apply for graduation for Level 1 Certificate in Child Development
