Meet with academic advisor or Visual Arts Chair to obtain a copy of transfer university degree plan and determine G.P.A. needed to transfer to university.

• ARTS 1303 - Art History Survey I 3 credit hours.
• Mathematics - see Advisor or Department Chair for transfer Math class. 3 credit hours
• ARTS 1316 - Drawing I 3 credit hours.
• HIST 1301 - United States History I 3 credit hours.

Second Semester

Schedule a campus tour with transfer university.

• ENGL 1302 - Composition II 3 credit hours.

• SPCH 1315 - Public Speaking 3 credit hours. or
• SPCH 1318 - Interpersonal Communication 3 credit hours. or
• SPCH 1321 - Business and Professional Communication 3 credit hours.

• ARTS 1304 - Art History Survey II 3 credit hours.
• ARTS 1311 - Design I 3 credit hours.
• HIST 1302 - United States History II 3 credit hours.

Third Semester

Confirm courses for completion of AA degree by meeting with Advisor or Department Chair.

Start applying for admission to transfer university and send first official transcript to transfer university.

• Any course from Life/Physical Science core** 3 credit hours
• GOVT 2305 - Federal Government (Federal Constitution and Topics) 3 credit hours.
• ARTS 1301 - Art Appreciation 3 credit hours.
• Any Studio Arts I course (see list below)***  3 credit hours
• Any course from Social/Behavioral Science core **¹  3 credit hours

Fourth Semester

Apply for graduation for AA Art.

Confirm admission to transfer university and send final official transcript to transfer university at end of semester.

• GOVT 2306 - Texas Government (Texas Constitution and Topics) 3 credit hours.
• Choose from Life and Physical Sciences ** 3-4 credit hours
• Choose 2nd Studio Arts I course (see list below) ** 3 credit hours
• Choose 3rd Studio Arts I course *** or Studio Arts II course 3 credit hours. 
• Any course from Language/Philosophy/Culture core**1  3 credit hours.

Grand Total Hours: 60
