Computer-Aided Design, Level I Certificate

The Computer-Aided Design Certificate is designed to train experienced and aspiring professionals in various engineering fields to use CAD® software to produce designs, drawings, illustrations, and presentations.

FIRST YEAR

First Semester

DFTG 1305 - Technical Drafting 3 credit hours.
DFTG 1309 - Basic Computer-Aided Drafting 3 credit hours.
SRVY 1301 - Introduction to Surveying 3 credit hours.
SRVY 1315 - Surveying Calculations 3 credit hours.

Second Semester

DFTG 2319 - Intermediate Computer-Aided Drafting 3 credit hours.
DFTG 2321 - Topographical Drafting 3 credit hours.
SRVY 1309 - Surveying Measurement 3 credit hours.
SRVY 1342 - Global Positioning System Techniques for Surveying and Mapping 3 credit hours.

Third Semester

SRVY 1313 - Plane Surveying 3 credit hours.
DFTG 2330 - Civil Drafting 3 credit hours.
