DRAM 1121 - Theater Practicum II1 credit hours. 0 lecture hours. 3 lab hours. Prerequisites: DRAM 1120 or permission of the instructor. Maximum of 4 credits. This is a laboratory course for extensive participation in theater activities. It consists of work in drama for public presentation, backstage work, use of makeup, properties, lighting, and other facets of technical theater. An average of three hours each week or a minimum of forty-eight hours of participation during the semester is required. This course may be repeated for credit.
Measurable Learning Outcomes:
- Producing a public performance of a full length play.
- Learn various aspects of producing a play including auditioning cast, acting, directing, scenery design and construction, lighting, and sound.
- Learn how to create and follow a production budget.
